THE PLANE HAS BEEN SHIPPED !!!!

Celebrations in this household started yesterday as a phone call was received by the Quad City Ultralight factory stating that shipment had occured!

They said that the plane had been crated and given to the shipper on Friday and that I should be receiving it the end of this week. O joy, O joy.

A call to the carrier revealed that it would be transferred to another carrier named BSP and to “call back Thursday to see what is happening”. We don’t want “freight limbo” here folks, we would like “direct to consignee”.

Check back later to see if the smile on my face has been made larger than life, or has been sadly smudged off.

Factory delay

July has rolled around into August, August is half way used up and still no airplane.

I guessI understand that small manufacturing plants have delays and labor problems, it is just that it is getting later and later and still no airplane.
